San Francisco-based artist Chelsea Brown's recent work is hard to look away from.  With fantastic attention to detail, ethereal imagery, and ritualistic concepts, Chelsea's work is a new obsession of mine which I will now be following religiously.

Every Girl Goes to Hell

I haven't posted in over a month so I figured I would set the dial to "disturbingly intriguing" and show a few samples of work by Buddy Nestor.  Every Girl Goes to Hell is a series of portraits of beautiful women that Nestor turns ugly.  This work premiered at the Toothless Cat in Philadelphia last year and I was fortunate enough to see these incredible pieces in person.

Dreams

"Dreams" by Eugenio Recuenco for Zink Magazine

Just the Essentials

In celebration of my love for menswear, I found a link to these posters on UO's blog.  EveryGuyed Network recently presented Dress the Part, a collection of 10 redesigned movie posters inspired by Men’s Style.  Here are just a few to feast your eyes on, but you can see more at www.moxycreative.com/dressthepart/.

A Young Mind

I saw this little girl in Volunteer Park and I just had to snap a photo of her.  She might just be the next Andy Goldsworthy:

Happy Friday.
